Never satisfied with the conventional, Dodge has created the first-of-its-kind position of Chief Donut Maker, an afterthought that will turn heads. When Dodge says donuts, think celebratory car maneuvers, not glazed crullers. And what’s not to celebrate? The Chief Donut Maker will be a Dodge Ambassador decked out in Dodge wires, driving a Dodge SRT® Hellcat, rubbing shoulders with celebrities at epic car events, leveling up at Radford Racing School, all while making a mouthwatering $150,000 salary – and they don’t even have to quit their job.

“The Dodge Brothers were never content with following the trends, they were looking for a better, faster, more outrageous way of doing things,” said Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis. “We are looking for someone like them as our Chief Donut Maker, someone who embodies their crazy can-do America Muscle spirit and carries the torch of the most engaged group of enthusiasts the automotive industry has to offer. better way to find them than create this once in a lifetime opportunity that gives you the chance to drive the #1 Muscle Car in America.”

Winning the sweetest gig ever will be a kickass event in itself. It starts with applicants submitting a short video demonstrating why they are the best fit for the position: showing passion, charisma and creativity. Then it gets really interesting. Dodge hired champion wrestler Bill Goldberg to oversee a competition between the top ten finalists who will put their talents to the test. Contestants are thrown into wild, thrilling scenarios, including racing a Dodge heavyweight (with a professional driver on a closed circuit). This series of eliminations will then air as a reality TV show, with the final episode revealing Dodge’s new Chief Donut Maker this spring.

Dodge is processing the applications January 20, 2022 with a notice period of February 28, 2022. Applicants must demonstrate in a short video (maximum length of two minutes) that they embody the spirit of the founding Dodge Brothers. Aspiring donut makers can go to to sign up and review all rules and regulations.

The Dodge Challenger closed 2021 as the No. 1 Muscle Car in total sales in the U.S., taking the crown for the first time in the segment.

For more than 100 years, the Dodge brand has carried on the spirit of brothers John and Horace Dodge. Their influence continues today as Dodge shifts into high gear with muscle cars and SUVs delivering unparalleled performance in each of the segments in which they compete.

Dodge is moving forward as a pure performance brand, offering SRT versions of every model across the lineup. For the 2022 model year, Dodge is delivering the dominating 807 horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock, the 797 horsepower Dodge Charger SRT Redeye, the most powerful and fastest mass-produced sedan in the world, and the Dodge Durango SRT 392, America’s fastest, most powerful, and most capable three-row SUV. Combined, these three muscle cars make Dodge the most powerful brand in the industry, with more horsepower than any other American brand in its entire lineup.

In 2020, Dodge was named the “No. 1 Brand in Initial Quality”, making it the first ever domestic brand to be ranked #1 in the JD Power Initial Quality Study (IQS). In 2021, the Dodge brand was ranked No. 1 in the JD Power APEAL Study (Mass Market), making it the only domestic brand ever to achieve this two years in a row.
