Order books are now open for the latest Charger and Challenger models of the current generation — and it’s not just the end of a generation. It is the end of the models in their current form, as the brand gives way to electrification. (Check out the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT EV concept unveiled earlier this year.)
Dodge says nearly all 2023 model year chargers and challengers are out of the entry-level SXT to the SRT Jailbreak are assigned to Dodge dealers. The nice thing is that you can look up which vehicles are assigned to which CarPro dealers using the online tool Dodge Horsepower Locator.
It is available at DodgeGarage.com. If you enter your zip code, you will see a list of dealers (just choose the CarPro certified one) and you will see a list of the available models for each. This includes model, special edition model and trim level for Dodge Challenger and Charger vehicle availability.
“Dodge has been building special edition muscle cars for the past ten years and we have yet to find an allocation method that will please everyone. Our new ‘Last Call’ Horsepower Locator won’t please everyone either, but it’s our attempt to take the mystery out of it” said Tim Kuniskis, Dodge Chief Executive Officer at Stellantis. “We are making the process as transparent as possible so that enthusiasts have the opportunity to search for any 2023 model and trim level assigned to each dealer. Our enthusiasts will have every opportunity to find the Dodge ‘Last Call’ model they want .”
Dealer Assignments
Please note, orders are based on dealer assignments – not dealer inventory. You can see which models can still be ordered via a dealer. For Dodge Challenger and Charger models that are on a dealer lot or on their way to a dealership, customers can still view them through the Search New Inventory feature on Dodge.com.
Dodge will update the system daily, Monday through Friday, during the first few months of vehicle ordering so that customers can get the very latest models available from dealers. As vehicle orders will be processed by dealers in 2023, the system will be easily updated based on specific dealers.
Orders are confirmed via email within 30 days of placement, informing customers that they have purchased a coveted 2023 Dodge “Last Call” model. Customers will continue to receive updates on the vehicle’s production status via email.
Special Edition Models
Dodge even says the special edition 2023 Dodge “Last Call” models – the Dodge Challenger Shakedown, Dodge Charger Super Bee, Dodge Challenger and Charger Scat Pack Swinger, Dodge Charger King Daytona and Dodge Challenger Black Ghost – can be searched through the Dodge Horsepower Locator. Those models will be awarded to the 500 largest dealers. The top 200 dealers will receive 12 special edition models, dealers #201-300 on sale will receive 10 special edition models, and dealers in the #301-500 series will receive six special edition models.

Each Special Edition 2023 Dodge “Last Call” model comes pre-configured. Orders for special “Last Call” models must be placed by contacting dealers with stock of the desired special edition vehicle.
We are still waiting for the seventh and final special “Last Call” model to be announced at a later date.
