The ultra-high-end package aims to give Ram one of the ultimate luxuries in truck interiors

Ram has announced that its 2023 truck line will feature the 1500 Limited Elite Edition, an ultra-luxury package that will hit the market in Q4 2022. It will only be available in a Crew Cab configuration and will carry a 5.7L V8 with eTorque, a mild hybrid system that aids acceleration and improves fuel economy.

The top-of-the-line equipment includes a jeweled rotary switch, premium leather upholstery, suede headlining, clear pedals, 19-speaker sound system, heated steering wheel, unique instrument cluster theme, and wood and metal trim. Both the front and rear seats are heated and ventilated, with 12-way power front seats and 60-40 adjustable rear seats.

On the outside, the Elite has a folding step, cargo box divider, adjustable tie-down hooks and a multi-function tailgate that opens conventionally or as a set of two doors.
“The new 2023 Ram 1500 Limited Elite Edition takes the highest quality materials in the industry and elevates the benchmark for interior comfort to a lofty sky,” said Mike Koval Jr., CEO of the Ram brand. Of course, none of that comes cheap, and the Elite starts at $92,820.

Ram also announced updates on the 2023 lineup. The Ram 1500 RED Edition returns on the Limited, with red badges honoring (RED), an organization that raises money for the Global Fund for World Health Emergencies, and a UV-C glove box light that kills bacteria on objects. A 12-inch frameless digital meter cluster is available with selectable menus; all trucks have a rear seat indicator and LED lighting on the tow bar; 22-inch all-terrain tires are available with off-road packages; and the 1500 Rebel features Selec-Speed Control for off-road riding.
Ram Heavy-Duty (2500 and 3500) models will also receive the new digital cluster, along with an available digital rearview mirror with side camera integration; a reversing control for trailers; telescopic trailer mirrors; and improvements to the camera system, including apps for trailer towing, multiple view modes, blind spot view, and behind the trailer view.
In addition, a new Uconnect 5 infotainment system is rolling out across all Stellantis brands, including faster processing speeds, new personalization features, Alexa Built-In, Fire TV Built-In, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, simultaneous dual Bluetooth phone connectivity, improved speech recognition, enhanced navigation guidance, over-the-air updates and an available front passenger screen.
