According to CarBuzz, Ram has announced the new Ram 1500 TRX Havoc Edition. It is a brand new addition to the line-up that will only see the light of day in limited quantities. However, it has a bold, classy look that some super truck buyers will love. For the first time, the TRX model will come with a Baja Yellow exterior color, a hue that can’t be missed when drivers pass it on the road. The Havoc Edition isn’t just about the bright paint job, though.
The Havoc Edition adds the TRX Level 2 Equipment Group, a $10,995 option on the standard TRX model. It combines a long list of features, such as 8-way power seats, a 19-speaker Harmon Kardon Premium sound system and ventilated seats for both rows. Finally, the Havoc Edition has a two-panel sunroof to enhance the interior atmosphere.
Next, the special edition supertruck has black-painted 18-inch bead-lock-capable wheels, graphics and an injected bed liner. Other standard exterior features include load lashings, a cab-mounted LED brake light and a bed step.
Inside, the carbon fiber and leather-wrapped steering wheel features a Baja Yellow TRX symbol to match the exterior. In addition, Prowler Yellow stitching can be found on the dash, center console and seats. In addition, the seats also have black leather trim embroidered with TRX logos with carbon fiber inlay for the dash. Is the engine the same as a standard TRX?
While the Ram 1500 TRX Havoc Edition looks better in yellow, it’s just as good for performance. Ram didn’t change the standard TRX model’s 702 horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter V8. Supertruck buyers are unlikely to have complained about the powerful engine, so if it’s not broken, don’t fix it.
CarBuzz pointed out that if Ram TRX buyers want even more power, it’s available. Just buy the Ram Tyrant, which boosts the power to 787 horsepower.

While expensive, it is less expensive than the pickup’s closest rival, the F-150 Raptor R.
The Yellow Threat is expected to go on sale sometime in the first quarter of 2023.
