Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Audi) recalls certain AUDI A8, A6 Allroad, E-TRON Quattro, 2022 S3, RSQ8, RS7, RS6 Avant, Q8, Q7, Q3, E-TRON Sportback Quattro, S5 for 2021-2022 Cabriolet, E-TRON GT , S5 Sportback, A7, A6, A5 Sportback, A5 Cabriolet, A4, A4 Allroad, A3, S8, SQ7, SQ8, S6 and S4 vehicles. The infotainment system main unit may be damaged internally when the vehicle is turned off, causing the rear view camera display to stop working the next time the vehicle is started. As such, these vehicles do not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, “rear visibility”.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the infotainment main unit for free. Owner application letters are expected to be mailed on December 25, 2022. Owners can contact Audi Customer Service at 1-800-253-2834. Audi’s number for this recall is 91Ei.

Overview
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling select vehicles from the 2022 Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300. The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensor battery can fail prematurely and cause the sensor to malfunction. As such, these vehicles do not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 138, “Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems”.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the TPMS sensors at no charge if necessary. Owner notice letters are expected to be sent by post on December 16, 2022. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC at 1-800-853-1403. The FCA US, LLC number for this recall is ZB5. This recall is an extension of the previous recall number 22V-504.

Overview
Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2023 Genesis G80 Electric, 2021-2022 Santa Fe Hybrid and 2022-2023 Santa Fe Plug-In Hybrid vehicles. In the event of a collision, the belt tensioners on the driver’s and/or front passenger’s side could explode during use.
Remedy
Dealers secure the belt tensioners with a cap for free. Owner notice letters are expected to be sent by post on December 30, 2022. Owners may contact Hyundai Customer Service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai’s number for this recall is 238/011G. This recall is an extension of the recall numbers 22V-354 and 22V-458.

Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain Volkswagen Tiguan LWB, Golf Sportswagen A7, Golf Alltrack, Golf R GP, Audi Q3, Audi A3 Cabriolet, 2019-2020 Jetta NF, Jetta GLI, Golf GTI, Atlas, Golf A7, Audi A3, Atlas Cross Sport 2020-2021 and 2021 Atlas FL vehicles. The tire pressure monitoring system may not detect a loss of air pressure in time if all four tires are deflated at the same time. As such, these vehicles do not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 138, “Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems”.
Remedy
Dealers will update the TPMS software for free. Owner application letters are expected to be mailed on December 30, 2022. Owners may contact Volkswagen Customer Service at 1-800-893-5298 or Audi Customer Service at 1-800-253-2834. Volkswagen numbers for this recall are (Audi) 45J7 and (VW) 45J6 and 45J8.
